ArgonX is a South African technology company bringing together electronic design, embedded systems, software, IoT and connectivity. We work across disciplines to develop solutions around the requirements of the operation.
Our approach
Bespoke work leads. A product area such as smart locks, mine safety, animal traceability or AIoT is useful when it matches the problem. When it does not, the project is designed from the constraint rather than from a catalogue.
Design to deployment
The same team conversation covers the device, the communications and the application. Scope, equipment and acceptance are written down at the start and tested against the site, not against a slogan. GEO satellite communications are being deployed as one connectivity option inside that work.
Hardware, software and data
Electronics, firmware, integration and operational software are delivered as one system where the project needs all of them. Data is kept for the operational purpose that was agreed. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are added only when the data and the validation plan support the decision you want to make.
