Privacy notice

How we handle information you share through the ArgonX enquiry form, and how to contact us about your information.

A quiet workspace with connected technology.

Who receives an enquiry

The form is operated for ArgonX. Messages are addressed to info@argonx.tech. You can also telephone +27 (0)82 771 6283 or write to 114 Esther Road, Zesfontein, Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa.

What the form collects

The form asks for your name, an optional company, your email address, an optional telephone number, an area of interest, a message, and an acknowledgement of this notice. A hidden field is left empty so automated submissions can be rejected. Do not use the form for file attachments. There is no marketing list and no analytics cookie on this website by default.

Why it is collected

The details are used to read your enquiry and reply about the project you described. They are not sold. The interest field only routes the conversation. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

How it is sent

The website sends the enquiry through an authenticated mail service configured for ArgonX. The mail host processes the message so it can be delivered to the ArgonX mailbox. Your email address is used as the reply address and to send you a confirmation thanking you for your enquiry. Success on the confirmation page means the configured delivery service accepted the message. It does not prove that the message has already been read.

When automatic enquiry translation is enabled, we use Google Cloud Translation to translate the message text into English. We retain the original message. The separate name, email and telephone fields are not included in the translation request, but any personal information included in the message itself will be processed as part of that text.

What is stored

This website does not keep a database of enquiries. If a submission needs correcting, the details you typed are held in a short-lived server session so the form can be shown again. That session ends when the enquiry is accepted or when the session expires, which is intended to be within about 30 minutes of inactivity.

Abuse prevention keeps a one-way identifier of the connection address, not the enquiry text, for the rate-limit window of one hour. If delivery fails, a private operational log may record the time and a short technical reason. It is written so that it does not include your message. Those log lines are removed after 30 days. The enquiry itself, once accepted by the mail service, lives in the ArgonX mailbox and is kept for as long as that correspondence is needed.

The form uses an essential session cookie so the submission can be tied to the page you loaded. The cookie is not used for advertising.

Language preferences

You can choose a language from the language menu. English (UK) is the default. We use your browser language and time zone to estimate a suitable language and ask before changing it. This is an approximate region estimate, not precise geolocation. We do not request GPS access or send your IP address to a location service. Your language choice and dismissal of the suggestion are stored in your browser’s local storage. You can change your choice at any time using the language menu or clear it through your browser settings.

Asking about your information

To ask about an enquiry you sent, email info@argonx.tech. Please include enough detail for us to find the message.
