Animal traceability, from identity to operational context.
Bring animal identity, movement records and operational information into a connected traceability approach. ArgonX combines device integration and software workflows to support livestock operations across the animal lifecycle.

Tracking and traceability
Tracking provides location observations. Traceability also connects identity, movement, custody and lifecycle events. A position on a map is one observation. The operational record is the animal, where it has been, who is responsible for it, and what has been noted along the way.
The reporting interval and the quality of a position depend on the hardware and the connectivity selected for the project. GEO satellite communications are being deployed as one option for remote surface operations. They are not a promise of coverage everywhere, and they are not a fixed airtime package.

What the workflow can include
- Identify the animal independently of the device attached to it.
- Link farms, camps and movement information.
- Retain observations and relevant records.
- Manage ownership and custody workflows.
- Connect field data to dashboards and alerts in AIoT.
- Configure the process for the species and the operation.
Collars and event-driven movement, boundary or tamper reporting are device-integration topics. They are included only to the extent the selected hardware and the agreed scope support them.
Analysis stays scoped
AI-assisted identification and disease-exposure analysis belong to scoped development and validation. They are not a medical diagnosis and they are not a regulatory certification. Historical work includes cattle and pig traceability, and produce-trace development themes. Those are solution history, not extra software platform names.
Livestock tracking and traceability are connected needs
Identification establishes which animal a record belongs to; tracking and traceability add movement, custody and lifecycle context. ArgonX brings those records together with the devices and connectivity selected for the farm. Reporting intervals and location availability depend on that selection.
