Mining

Connected technology for mining and mine safety.

ArgonX brings bespoke electronics, IoT and software integration to mining applications. We focus on making equipment and operational information more visible, with the solution shaped around the conditions and processes at the site.

From field data to operational insight

  1. Equipment and assets

Monitoring points on equipment or infrastructure the site chooses to instrument.

  2. Site communications

The link that actually works at that location. Surface satellite communications are being deployed as one option. They are not underground coverage and they are not GNSS through rock.

  3. Condition and environment

The measurements the project agrees to collect, held as history rather than a single reading.

  4. Operational view

Dashboards, alerts and workflow in AIoT or in software integrated for the site.

Application discussions

  • Equipment and asset monitoring
  • Condition and environmental data
  • Alerts and operational dashboards
  • Traceability and workflow integration

Designed around your site

Technology can support awareness and operational response. Site-specific safety requirements, equipment suitability and acceptance must be established for the deployment. This is not presented as a certified protection system, and it is not a substitute for mine safety procedures.

ArgonX does not claim injury prevention, approved collision avoidance, or underground satellite or GNSS coverage. Artificial intelligence, if it is used, is scoped and validated for the decision it is meant to support. It is not autonomous control of mining equipment.

Mining telemetry with operational context

Mining IoT connects suitable field measurements and equipment information to the people who need them. Discuss the site, communications, reporting and response workflow first. The engineering scope must respect the mine operator’s safety procedures and site acceptance requirements.
